How well do my bloggety friends know me? Let's find out!

I made a Quiz for you! Take my Quiz! and then Check out the Scoreboard!

How to make my day better than what it was –

Why was it bad to begin with? I had to wake up and go to work.

But to make it better, it would start off a lot like today did - it would start by walking into my office and seeing that I will be all alone today. Ahhh the glory of opening that door and seeing the lights still off. I love being alone in my office. I don't have to talk to anyone, I can listen to my music, and I can put the air conditioning on the setting I want it to be. Oh happy days. So, up with the Windows Media Player and on with the '80's Metal FM ("Best Metal On The Net!" and they ain't kiddin!) Now, I can sit and blog - something I haven't been able to do since last week I believe.

New Aches - Well, to start off, my thumbs hurt. More so, my arms. I took my very first Samurai Sword class on Monday. It was AWESOMMEEE! And I feel more certain than ever now that I will become a Samurai warrior princess one day. I just need to break my thumbs into that handle and all will be good.

New Pains - My big toe hurts too. It's all red and hot and has a lot of pressure around the top right corner of the nail. I'm not certain if it's the early stages of an ingrown toenail, but I performed surgery last night with a tweezers and nipped that sucker, whatever it was, in the bud. I ripped the corner apart, lifted it up and dug out whatever I could find in there. Do you know how hard it is to do anything on your toe when you cant get close enough to it to see what you're doing? Just start digging, that's about all you can do. Then I soaked it in peroxide and covered it in Neosporin. I woke up this morning and both the toe and the nail were not only still there, but they both felt much better so we'll mark that surgery a success.

I also have a fat blister on my tongue from, I think, something sharp in my mouth. I think I chipped a filing, although I can't seem to figure out where. It just feels like one of those "tongue rubbing from sharp thing" injuries. Which reminds me I have to find a new dentist and get my groove back on with taking care of my teeth. I had a dentist I absolutely LURVED but they dropped my discount plan and I'm skeered, no, TERRIFIED to find another butcher dentist I can trust.

Weekend Events - We went to our good friends' wedding this weekend. It was bea-U-tiful! And the reception was really fun, of course. We ate, we drank, we danced, and my husband and my friend's new boyfriend almost got into a ballroom brawl - just like the good old times! Hey, that's why they always sit our gang in the back of the room. Besides, its easier to hear our catcalls if where behind you...

HOOT HOOTs - And may I just take a moment to give my husband some major kudos for looking SO HOTTT in his fancy get up. Black dress pants, black dress shirt, black silk tie and wingtips, freshly shaved head, goatee almost reaching his collarbone, tiny hiney, all smelling like Drakar, looking a little Vin Diesel-ish... That's right, my hubby's got it going ONNN.

Daily Archeology Discovery - I have a rock here that appears to actually be an axe head, so of course my job is to find out who made it... possibly a caveman... or an Indian... some guy in his backyard... who knows. Fascinating though. Today I gave it its very own photo shoot (it's gonna be a STAR baby) and emailed out to the museum people; hopefully they can help identify what it is and where it came from. Unfortunately, it isn't even mine so I will reluctantly have to give it back even though I have grown kind of fond of it... you know how I get with rocks...
