wonderful illustration; really gives you an idea of how tiny that eye is amid the mass of the animal
oooh, this is a WONDERFUL photo! Really, really, nice.
You can almost see the wisdom of the ages in that face...

Thedre's something so sad in an elephant's eye! I love the incredible texture of its hide and the tiny bit of eye that peers out with such pathos.
This happens to be a baby elephant. He was giving rides at the state fair in Massachusetts. I wish I could say I saw him running wild or wadign in pools in Africa, but unfortunately he was tied to a rope walking in circles. I saw the sadness in his eye (thats the "something" so sad in his eye Carla!) and had to take his pictures so we could remember what elephants shouldnt be doing.
Wow, that looks spectacular!
It's a beautiful picture but the circumstances were ugly (and not of your doing).
Wonderful elephant. :-)
Wonderful, intimate perspective. I love their gentle souls.
Great - the elefant looks like he has a beautiful mind - I like it very much
