Too many legs and not enough body sections. It's an arachnid.
Great picture. I'm not sure if I could get close enough to take one.
Zoom?
Insect or not, I like it!!
It did make me nervous getting so close. I had my macro lens on and was up close and personal with it. Its a wolf spider, by the way. Very hairy. Lots of eyes. Mean looking. Big teethy pincher things. Did I mention how HAIRY it was?
Eeeek! I think it emphasizes how our fears can be blown out of proportion - very nice!
nice! And creepy. I am not a spider fan :P
I love the message this gives me...I see the huge shadow of the small spider and I think of how we make things out to be bigger or worse that they really are! Even if I'm way off, it's such a great image. Good one!
Well it seems that y'all are getting what I was thinking when I made this. Yes, its the illusion of things being bigger than they really are!
Does anybody like spiders??? I think the hairless ones with the big round body and longggg skinny legs are creepier than the short fat hairy ones. One thing for sure, I like the fact that they eat all the other bugs we dont want around. Thats a big brownie point for them.
LOVE it!!
Um, I love spiders. I did my 8th grade science project on them. Had jars of them for display....
Only spider I DON'T like is the black widow, they get sent to little arachnid heaven here.
